I made a delicious, last-minute turkey despite my haters, most noticeably my roommate Karla, who badgered me to put it in the oven at 9 am on Thursday and kept sending me recipes. I ate turkey every day for a week afterwards. Our friends who came over on Thanksgiving said it was good although maybe they wanted to be nice? Either way, I was proud that I did it.
