Wild Edibles Walk

Cody and I headed to PERT for a wild edibles walk, aka we ate wild plants. The leader was an odd guy, with a bushy beard and wild look to him. We hiked all around the preserve while discovering that most of the pretty berries were poisonous. So be it. We tried persimmon fruit, ginger, and yellow wood sorrel (tastes like lemon). It was a lot of fun, especially because when I'm usually there, I'm either volunteering or running. Anyway, if we are ever lost in the wilderness, DO NOT trust me to identify edible plants; we'd probably die.
