The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

With all the snow this week, I didn't get to spend every day at Ambler like I wanted to. Which may have worked out for me in the end but we'll see next week. After Monday, with snow, no car, and other plans, I found time today, kind of spur of the moment. The hardest part was the decision to see either Still Alice or The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I wanted to see both of them but I felt like The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel was a little lighter and that's what I really needed yesterday. And that's what I got. It was just a typical trip to Ambler where I was the youngest person there by 40 years. I guess movies with older British actors really appeals to the older Ambler population. And I felt like I came full circle as this movie was the sequel to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, which was the first movie I ever saw at Ambler. I felt like this one, however, was a little more serious (but I could be wrong because I don't entirely remember the first time) but still fun and silly and made me want to eat Indian food. It would have been nice, in hindsight, to see the movie and go to the little Indian restaurant down the street. Next time, for the third movie!
