Georgia!

So my friend Kristen (who is going to be my quad-mate next year!!) is working at a summer camp in Georgia for six (?) weeks. She is a gazillion miles from home so we decided to be pen-pals. I got her first letter yesterday! I was so excited. It was very Kristen-like and the perfect letter ever. I was so excited to 1. get mail 2. get a letter from Kristen and 3. read the letter. Just the way she wrote it made me smile! Oh my goodness, I cannot explain it at all.

Anyway, here are some facts about Georgia, in case you wanted to visit Kristen and impress the Georgians:

• State fish is the Largemouth Bass (I didn't know state fish existed?)
• State flower is the Cherokee Rose
• State bird is the Brown Thrasher
• State motto is "Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation"
• Largest state east of the Mississippi River
• The nation's largest producer of peanuts, pecans, and peaches
• I have been to Atlanta for the 2002 Final Four in college men's basketball
