Memorial Day Parade

One of the best parts of Memorial Day is the annual parade. Honestly, it is a bit lame--it is only twelve and a half minutes long. But I love going to it every year. The participants throw candy at us. We never know what time it starts--we can hear the bagpipe players from our house so we run down to the route, only to wait 45 minutes until the start. This happens every year. Either we are very early or we think we missed it.
