Work
So my summer was influenced greatly by my lack of job. It is a long story of why I didn't have a job and I am not going to go into it. But not having a job freed up my time to spend with friends and run and read and relax. Even though I did not make any money, I gained intangible benefits. Anyway, when my boss contacted me a week ago asking for my help, I quickly jumped on it. I love my workplace--my coworkers, the customers, the atmosphere. Even though it is only for approximately 12 hours this week, I am looking forward to all of it. I worked four hours tonight. While it was hard to remember all the information, I liked being back. On of my friends from high school came in and I was able to help her. The satisfaction in successfully helping someone is one of the greatest feelings ever. Even though I was rushing from class to work (and the bus was late!), I had a good time with it all. People said how lucky I was to not have a job but when I had my job, I never wanted to miss ever.
